IGA GEM’s & Nationals
Level 10-8
In February, four of our squad gymnasts took part in the first IGA Gem’s competition where all four of them achieved distinction for their grade. Poppy, Annabelle and Hermione qualified for nationals, with Isla being the first runner up for a nationals spot too.
We have just returned from nationals in March where the girls all showed a massive improvement in just three weeks and we couldn’t be prouder of their achievement in getting to their first national competition and representing T30. They looked like they had the best time with smiles on their faces all day. Hermione came third on both vault and beam. All three girls scored a distinction for the second time with some very tough competition for the medals.

IGA GEM’s Nationals
Level 7+
In April, five of our squad gymnasts took part in their first Gem’s National competition at level 7. All of them achieved distinction.
Annabelle placed 7th overall and Natalia 13th overall out of 22 competitors in the skill seekers age group.
In the trail blazers age group Holly placed 2nd overall, Alice 5th and Darcey 6th. They also received the following individual medals:
Holly - Floor 2nd, F&B 2nd, Bars 3rd.
Alice - F&B 1st, Beam 3rd.
Darcey - Floor 3rd, Vault 3rd.
